CJC-1295 (no DAC)

CJC-1295 without DAC — accurately called modified GRF(1-29) — is the 29-residue N-terminal fragment of GHRH with four amino acid substitutions that resist enzymatic degradation and prevent the asparagine rearrangement that limits native GRF stability. It lacks the maleimido drug affinity complex that gives the DAC version its multi-day half-life, so it produces a discrete, time-limited secretory pulse.

That distinction is the entire point of stocking both. Work that needs to resolve pulse timing, receptor desensitisation kinetics or the interaction between GHRH-receptor and ghrelin-receptor signalling needs the short-acting form; sustained-elevation studies need the DAC form. Naming in this category is genuinely confused across the industry — a great deal of material sold as 'CJC-1295' is the no-DAC form. We label both explicitly and state the modification set on the certificate.
