About GLP-2 (TZ)
Tirzepatide is a 39-amino-acid synthetic peptide engineered on a GIP scaffold and modified to bind both the GIP and GLP-1 receptors from one molecule. A C20 fatty diacid conjugated through the lysine at position 20 provides albumin binding and the extended half-life that made weekly dosing schedules feasible in published trials. Its receptor pharmacology is asymmetric — it is a full agonist at GIPR and a biased partial agonist at GLP-1R — and that imbalance is itself an active area of research into which receptor contributes what.
Because the molecule is longer and more hydrophobic than semaglutide, it elutes late on reversed phase and is more prone to aggregation if reconstituted carelessly. We release lots only after a post-reconstitution clarity check in addition to the standard purity and identity panel.

Handling and reconstitution
Allow the vial to reach room temperature before adding diluent — cold glass promotes localised supersaturation and cloudy reconstitution.
Storage: Lyophilised at -20 °C. Reconstituted at 2–8 °C, protected from light.

Questions about this compound
Usually not. Tirzepatide is hydrophobic and hazes if diluent is added too fast or the vial is cold. Bring it to room temperature, add diluent down the wall, and let it stand 10 minutes without agitation. If haze persists, send us the lot number — we will replace it.
